In the early 1940s, some young, brave furniture architects were commissioned to develop beautiful, functional furniture at attractive prices. A good furniture design and quality should not be reserved for the richest people in the community.

FDB Møbler would form the framework for a good get-together, where close family values and a democratic community are central. Now, 75 years later, the owner Coop is breathing new life into the old classics and new models will be developed on that basis.

In 2013, Coop relaunched some of the old classics, and we dare to call it the restart of Denmark's most beautiful comeback. In addition to well-known and beloved furniture designed by Børge Mogensen and Poul M. Volther, Coop’s furniture concept will offer completely new designs that, with regard to the DNA of the past, bring FDB furniture to the present… and further into the future.
