Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of abstract art. Throughout his life, Kandinsky experimented with different styles, and as the Russian painter and professor grew older, his style became increasingly abstract. In the 1920s, Kandinsky was a regular at the German Bauhaus school, where he spent much of his time working with circles.<\/p>\n
